Insurance
I accept BCBS and am in network with the following plans: Blue Advantage, Blue Options, Blue Select, Classic Blue, NC State Health Plan. I am considered out of network with the following plans: Blue Value PPO, Blue Local, Blue HMO. Please note that I will attempt to verify your insurance benefits prior to session, but may not be able to do so due to time constraints. It is ultimately the responsibility of the client to verify if their specific insurance plan covers mental health services and myself as a provider, as well as if you are expected to pay out of pocket until you meet a deductible or if you owe a copay. I will submit claims to your insurance provider following each session and keep you informed of issues with reimbursement. Should the insurance company deny reimbursement, understand that this charge will need to be paid by you in a timely manner once you have been notified. I am willing to work out payment plans if needed, but this must be discussed and agreed upon by both parties.
Self-Pay
If you would like to be seen and do not wish to use insurance or I do not accept your specific insurance plan, please refer to the following fee schedule for my services:
INITIAL DIAGNOSTIC SESSION (INCLUDES recommendations/Development of TREATMENT PLAN WITH THERAPY GOALS): $175
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY SESSION - 60 MINUTES: $150
INDIVIDUAL THERAPY SESSION - 45 MINUTES: $125
COUPLES/FAMILY THERAPY SESSION: $150
ADHD TESTING: $450
*Because I went into this field for the love of helping others, I offer two pro bono therapy slots at all times. If finances are an issue, don’t hesitate to ask if these slots are available.
Payment Plans
Should finances be an issue for you, please note that I am open to discussing payment plan options, as well as reduced rates. This will only be discussed at the initial session, which must be paid for in it’s entirety, and will be worked out on a case by case basis. If you are an established client and encounter financial hardship, I am willing to work out a plan that will allow you to continue with services so please don’t feel the need to discontinue therapy until this matter has been discussed. It is my hopes to be able to help you without also causing financial stress.
Forms of Payment
Payment is due at the time of service. I prefer to accept credit card or bank payments through the VENMO app. Download this app onto a phone or computer, make your profile private to ensure confidentiality of payment, and add me as Stephanie-Vlad-1. This saves me a fee that most credit card machines charge. If you are not comfortable doing this, I accept the following forms of payment: Cash, check, credit card.
Cancelation | No Show Policy
Clients who cancel or reschedule their appointment without 24 hrs advance notice or do not show for their scheduled session will be charged the full session rate ($150). This fee is necessary because a time commitment is made and held exclusively for you. If you cancel or miss a session without 24 hours notice, you do not allow clinician the time to fill your appointment slot with another client who may have been wait listed.
