Don’t be so bitter.
Life is sweet.

ABOUT ME

I didn’t always see my glass as half full but when life gives you lemons I believe there’s only one option…grab the sugar! While lemonade won’t be served during our time together, I believe in making the bitter sweet.

EXPERIENCE

First things first, I speak from experience. I’m not just someone with a bunch of certifications who asks for money so that I can confine you to my rectangular box and tell you what to do. I’m here to help! While I am very much licensed and, in fact, hold a Master’s degree in psychology with more than thirteen years of professional experience, I am also here to tell you that life did actually serve me a bag of lemons early on. Learning to juggle the struggle myself is what led me down the path of wanting to do so with others.

As a Psychologist and Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional, I’m trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I strive to help my clients work through their struggles, connect to what is important to them and create a life that brings fulfillment. While I treat a variety of lemons (life challenges), I specialize in anxiety disorders, addictions, life transitions, entrepreneurship, perinatal and women’s issues (i.e. self-confidence, body image, boundaries, assertiveness, achieving balance). In addition to therapy, my background includes years of conducting psychological evaluations, including IQ and personality testing. Aside from personal and professional experience in making the bitter sweet, my two kids and husband, coffee, yoga, and the ocean are what help remind me of life’s sweetness.

I have been colleagues with Stephanie for 10 years and in that time I have watched her help countless numbers of individuals reach their goals. I have have referred to her many times and each time the individual has come back to me so thankful that I recommended such a compassionate and caring psychologist. After working with Stephanie for over 2 years, I have complete trust in her abilities as a therapist to help anyone, and I have recommended her to my family and friends. Her questions have been thought-provoking helping me to dig deeper to understand where I need to look for my answers & how to heal. She doesn’t just tell me what I need to do, she helps me to figure out on my own what I need to do & teaches me the skills to make the necessary changes to reach my mental health goals.
