How often do you check in with your physical and emotional bodies throughout the day?
Most of us are on autopilot and don’t take the time to investigate until we notice undeniable discomfort- pain in a body part or emotional distress.
In this workshop, we will be guided through each body part to practice increasing our somatic awareness- awareness of physical and emotional sensations in each part, allowing us to attend to those areas by uncovering body themes (i.e., "most of my tension lies in my shoulders and upper back"), beliefs (i.e., "life is too heavy to carry"), and needs (i.e., finding support and intentionally releasing tension from these areas). Wear comfy clothes & bring a yoga mat if you have one.
